While I agree, this is the Brewer's M.O. Just like the Packers, perpetual playoff disappointment.
@EdsterIII4 ай бұрын
@@porterwake3898I'm hoping and praying that this team is going to break that "curse". A new manager, new core group of players, and a lot more excitement and a lot more pride from this group. I used to be a huge fan of Josh Hader and Corbin Burnes. When they dumped Hader during a playoff run I was stunned. Same goes for Corbin Burnes the following year. I thought the Brewers had given up. What I didn't know or wasn't aware of was the internal drama both Hader and Burnes were responsible for. Josh Hader refusing to pitch more than one inning? Both of them being more of a clubhouse problem than a true leader, worried more about their big payday and not the team's successes. Initially I was not happy with those moves, but now I completely understand and accept what they did and why. AND Joey Ortiz has been phenomenal at 3rd base and his bat will get better, his power will climb, and his average will get higher. Once Robert Gasser gets back into his form after his injury, he's another great addition to our pitching staff. DL Hall's return will also only get better. This team has accomplished something this season that I don't believe ANY OTHER TEAM has ever done. 19 different starting pitchers. An injury riddled season that took many top players, yet in each case the next man up did just that. They got their shot and they were able to not only contribute, but they all helped this team succeed. The last few years this team was talented, however they weren't a "team". Too many individuals were looking for their $$💵💵💰🤑💰💵💵$$ payday. Now however THIS team is much different internally and emotionally. Pat Murphy has done a absolutely fantastic job working with these young players! Each one knowing their role. Many of them capable of playing multiple positions. Doing whatever is needed to help this team's success. Now will they win this series? I sincerely 🙏hope🙏&🙏pray🙏 that they will! However, whatever happens with this game, this team has accomplished so much. They've been able to solidify themselves as a very talented group of players. Unlike this season, next year's team will not be considered to be a cellar team. I'm also HOPING that the Brewers front office will not completely change this team. I'm hoping that they keep Aaron Civale, Frankie Montas(he has a powerful arm!), and I'm really hoping they make an attempt to re-sign Willy Adames. Although considering I'm hearing that the Brewers might be interested in Paul Goldschmidt from the St.Louis Cardinals who's also entering Free Agency, I don't see them spending or shelling out for both players. Again whatever happens this team could be set up to be a very serious problem for a lot of teams. But given everything that this team has been able to overcome, and accomplish, they might continue shocking more people. I would absolutely love to see this team get to the next level of the playoffs, then the next. Hopefully getting to the ultimate goal of the 🌎World🌎Series⚾️, and how epic would it be if the Brewers made it to the biggest game and how ironic would it be if their opponent was the New York Yankees? One of the smallest market teams against one of the biggest organizations in the MLB. Plus the franchise with the deepest pockets in all of baseball! That's a dream! But a dream that this team I truly believe is capable of attaining. Watch out, the Milwaukee Brewers are here and they are a very dangerous and potent team!

Chourio is absolutely insane 🤯🤯. 20 years old, completely unfazed. Launches two opposite field home runs in a must win playoff game to tie both times. Cmon Brewers don't let it end this way! Keep going!

Jackson Chourio.....what else can be said? This kid, 20 year old kid is playing like a 5-time All-Star. His bat has exploded 😳 again and again! The other rookie may have a higher season average but NO Rookie was more vitally important to their team as Jackson Chourio has been to the Milwaukee Brewers! In my opinion he DESERVES the Rookie of the Year Award!

Pat Murphy has every single one of the player's trust and utmost respect. Pat Murphy has given every single player a chance. It's obvious that his management techniques are far superior than what Craig Counsell-out did. Our defense has improved dramatically since last season. Our batting averages have improved dramatically as well, but our stolen bases? Our steals have exploded. So many players have set personal highs in many offensive categories. Willy Adames has set highs across the board. Plus this First Year manager has had to deal with losing his pitching staff to injuries. Wade Miley the free agent the Brewers signed, Brandon Woodruff out for the entire season, our closer Devon Williams out until the All-Star break. Starters were dropping like flies.🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰🪰 19 different starting pitchers. Relief Pitchers used as Starters. The roster was basically a M*A*S*H unit. Yet whenever another injury occurred, or another dilemma happened, Pat Murphy never panicked, he never freaked out. Pat Murphy has accomplished more with so much less than most managers have ever done. Pat Murphy without a Doubt, Pat Murphy truly DESERVES, the Manager of the Year Award! Hands down, without a shadow of a doubt, Pat Murphy deserves it! He has been nothing short of phenomenal.

Me too, manager of the year but he already made a mistake in the playoffs taking out Peralta in the 1st game after 4 innings. Freddy was pitching well and the series might be over if Freddy was left in.
