What a game. Quintana we wont forget that performance mate. Diaz held it down. Lindor sparked it up with a great lead off walk, Nimmo did his job, and Pete did the rest. Marte has also been so great, huge insurance run at the end. Winker is like a Villain I love it. This team did not quit. On to Philly.

After Butto gave up back-to-back home runs, I turned off the TV. I was pissed, disappointed, and I don’t know for how long. But I thought to myself, all season long, the Mets have always had the ability to come back. So, when I turned the TV back on, it was the 9th inning, and I witnessed the Mets' greatest comeback of my lifetime!

One unsung hereo in this game is David Peterson. Getting the last 3 outs in the ninth inning in relief as well as beating the Brewers 5-0 in his last start were two clutch piching performances. Peterson may be a huge contributor in relief for the Mets as he probably won't get a start in the playoffs as the #4 starter.

Edwin Diaz deserves a lot of credit for coming in after Butto gave up the 2 homers and keeping the score 2-0. Solid 1.2 innings although a little wild but he went after the Blewers' best hitters fearlessly. Since Jose Iglesias is struggling, I hope Mendoza starts Luisangel Acuna at 2B because he was absolutely bullying Phillies' pitching.
