I for the life of me will never understand why Casty thinks he can stretch for extra bases after a single. He's not fast enough.

6'4", 203 lbs. is not considered "fast"? Try telling that to Daniel Vogelbach (6'0", 275 lbs. if wondering).

@Hawkwing4567 different players. Some chubby players can run exceptionally well while some slim looking players might not have that type of hustle. Seeing Casty get picked off on that same sequence in multiple games has convinced me he does have that type of speed.

Sketchy defense on both sides, just glad the Phillies had their hittin' shoes on today. Rojas has to sure up his defensive play. Centerfield might be the position the Phils look to improve on come the deadline

Rojas has had more than enough time to prove himself. It’s time the Phillies get a CF that can catch a blooper & can hit homers! Justin Crawford???

@@lovesgucci1 You dont really need a homerun hitter or even a .300 hitter. The Phillies have a stacked lineup as is, and not to mention, Turner will be back shortly. Just need a consistant playmaker and a solid defender.
@lovesgucci1
@lovesgucci1 7 ай бұрын
@@Cbourbon454 With a universal DH, there’s absolutely no reason to have him in the lineup, especially when his defense isn’t there. He got more than enough to prove himself & moves need to be made.

@@lovesgucci1dude got called up to be a full time player about 3 years younger than bohm and stott were when they got the same call. Give him a little more time. He is still the 4th fastest player in the league, and he will continue to add more mass. If he becomes a .260/.310/.390 hitter he will be an above average amongst MLB CF players while being an elite base runner and a good defender off of his range and arm alone

There’s only 4 NL teams over .500 that they can play. It all evens out in the end. Besides, good teams are supposed to feast on bad teams and play .500 ball vs. the better teams. But with only 5 over.500 teams in the NL, don’t think that the Phillies won’t make the postseason.

Lol it was a 1-0 lead for an inning. In the 2nd inning mind you. Plus its the best team in baseball you're going against. Phillies gave Mets A LOT of rope. Ranger Suarez who's prob 1st or 2nd best pitcher in NL had some command issues, in the pouring rain and still couldn't take advantage. Mets pitchers love walking people.
