@Hawkwing4567 different players. Some chubby players can run exceptionally well while some slim looking players might not have that type of hustle. Seeing Casty get picked off on that same sequence in multiple games has convinced me he does have that type of speed.

Sketchy defense on both sides, just glad the Phillies had their hittin' shoes on today. Rojas has to sure up his defensive play. Centerfield might be the position the Phils look to improve on come the deadline

@@lovesgucci1 You dont really need a homerun hitter or even a .300 hitter. The Phillies have a stacked lineup as is, and not to mention, Turner will be back shortly. Just need a consistant playmaker and a solid defender.

@@lovesgucci1dude got called up to be a full time player about 3 years younger than bohm and stott were when they got the same call. Give him a little more time. He is still the 4th fastest player in the league, and he will continue to add more mass. If he becomes a .260/.310/.390 hitter he will be an above average amongst MLB CF players while being an elite base runner and a good defender off of his range and arm alone

Look at who they have played. The Braves to open the season are the only series they have played against a team with a winning record, and the Braves beat the Phillies two out of three games. Not hard to beat the Angels, Cardinals, Pirates, Reds, Giants, Rockies, Blue Jays, and White Sox.

There’s only 4 NL teams over .500 that they can play. It all evens out in the end. Besides, good teams are supposed to feast on bad teams and play .500 ball vs. the better teams. But with only 5 over.500 teams in the NL, don’t think that the Phillies won’t make the postseason.

Lol it was a 1-0 lead for an inning. In the 2nd inning mind you. Plus its the best team in baseball you're going against. Phillies gave Mets A LOT of rope. Ranger Suarez who's prob 1st or 2nd best pitcher in NL had some command issues, in the pouring rain and still couldn't take advantage. Mets pitchers love walking people.

there was a game within the last week or so where one of the Phillies, seems like it was Bohm, hit a single and for some reason rounded 1st and you could tell as soon as he rounded the bag that he would be out at 2nd. There was no running speed to be seen. Out by a mile. It must be a team thing.
