I was there yesterday (and Saturday) as an MLB Diamonds volunteer, helping look after the spectators, stationed in the upper deck, behind the right-field foul pole. Amazing atmosphere, people from all over Europe, the US, and the world!! From talking to fans, I learned that baseball is played in way more places than I knew ... baseball going global! And what a finish ... bases loaded, then a 2-3 double play -- which I had to explain to a few people (one I worked out myself what had happened!). Everybody in my section was in great spirits, and both days were tremendous fun!! ⚾⚾⚾

The way Castellanos' bat exploded there for the last out looks like he probably fractured it on the earlier foul ball and didnt switch it out. Guys gotta be more aware of that stuff. I know bases loaded, bottom of the 9th with 2 strikes youre locked into the at bat. But taking a time out and changing bats couldve changed the entire outcome of the game. Anyways great series from bith teams, i hope the UK fans enjoyed it. Now lets go see if LA can be the first team to sweep the Yankees this season

I agree. Best sport I have ever watched as a spectator. I am sad that I don’t get to watch it often otherwise I would be a regular fan. Also, I found out today that baseball is cricket's grandfather! The game was still being developed in England in the 1700s and the colonialists brought it over and devoloped it more where England made it into rounders. It's therefore older than cricket ⚾️
