It reminds me when Melvin Mora was playing SS in 2000 season for the injured Ordonez. Mora's defense was shaky at short too but vastly improved when he was traded to Baltimore for Mike Bordick; which ended up being a terrible trade for the Mets.

Baty is Overmatched, I will be happy when a proven veteran, Escobar is back...everyone crying for Baty...next year before his confidence takes a hit... same with Alvarez....as much as McCann sux...no effin way do you bring up Alvarez in the middle of a pennant race.....

Solid win against a good pitcher, T Williams making a case to be carried when it is time. Good fielding, good defense and opportunistic hitting is all about keeping fundamentals.

Feels good when the Mets slip on a couple of games, but hop right back up on the wagon. This is the first season since ‘86 that I haven’t worried too much, after losing a couple games in a row. This team is different. LFGM! 🔵🟠⚾️🍅🗽

I don't even consider it a slip. Injuries happen, we just have difficulty adjusting day of game. Two in two days was just just an unfortunate happening for us and a break for the Braves.
