Megill was able to do the job, Maton and Butto were very solid and Diaz was impeccable. A postseason atmosphere. For the series against Atlanta they must give their all, Alonso and J.D. Martinez must step up and help the team. Alonso is playing very good defense, but offense is needed.

This was a must win game without a doubt. I'm so glad that they won the final game of the regular season at home and prevented the Phillies from clinching. Now Atlanta and Milwaukee. You gotta believe. We need to win 2 games against Atlanta. A sweep would be nicer. Too bad this was a night game on a Sunday. Had it been on in the afternoon, it would have been better to hear Garry,Keith, and Ron calling the final home stand. At least Howie Rose was doing the radio broadcast. Let's go, Mets. How about a consideration for Carlos Mendoza as manager of the year.
