The best thing about this interview is Ron stresses practice. People don't under the amount of practice that goes into being great. Parents need to understand that if their kid isn't playing, it comes down to practice. The coaches will play the best guys. The cream always rises to the top.

In highschool that works about 70 percent. Travel or AAU, practice is irrelevant and performance is only kind of important. Things changed. I tell all the kids, find a coach that likes you, and work on your game outside of the team. But finding the coach is more important
