Such a well described video! Thank you!!! Lately, we seem to be unable to avoid French-speaking areas - anywhere from Tahiti (because of proximity and lax Covid rules in 2020-2021) to Paris (to reach Europe), to Côte d’Azur and … ahem, completely out of the blue the Québec city for a sudden supply-chain conference. For 20 years we were unhappy about wasting our college days learning this “dead” language (French) since no one seemed to speak it (in California and the surrounding states) to finally be rewarded by soooo many opportunities to practice what we firmly forgot (and even replaced with Spanish 😅). This is a wonderful language of Helen Farmer, Vanessa Paradis (and Grand Corps Malade!) and we now intend to restore the words and verbs to stop torturing the poor French-people that we meet 😂

I loved your channel because it already helped me a lot, but I'm having a doubt series. It is about the difference of the pronunciation between plural and singular. Do you have a video talking about it?
@lesneosuper-zero16936 жыл бұрын
Ariel BezAlves well, you normally don't pronounce the "s" at the end. For example, "fleur" and "fleurs", you pronounce them the same way. However, since French language is typically known for its complexity, for some words like "cheval", "animal", ect it's a different grammar rule, so the plural form is "chevAUX", "animAUX", so as the word has changed, you need to pronounce this "plural sound -aux" ^^ (and I don't event talk about words written exactly the same in their singular and plural form 😅)

Les Néo Super-Zéro Les Néo Super-Zéro Thank you man! It helped me a lot. What makes me angry is the fact of unpronounceable 's', for a lusophone and hispanophone, it is most difficult. 😂😂😂

Ariel BezAlves aha 😂 but french (in my high school) can't speak correctly neither english nor spanish, so don't worry about it ! 😂 (some classmates keep saying " e as blue heyes" (they drop the H sound when they need to pronounce it but the put an H where there is no need to.. 😂) Anyway, just keep practicing, it's the key !

Hi, Alexa. I really need practise on the sentence: "How old are you?" and "I am _ years old." can you help?
@oriane45746 жыл бұрын
I don’t know if this can help you but the translation for "How old are you" is "Quel âge as-tu (or "avez-vous)" and the translation of "I am __ years old" is "J’ai ___ ans". You can’t just translate it words to words cause in french you "are" not something year old, you "have " something years... I don’t know if you understand what I’m trying to say but yeah, hope this can help you!
