My experience with Karoo tyres on a KTM 1290 SAR complete opposite. Yes, mileage not the best, but no puncture or other issues. Sometimes just bad luck with punctures, it happens.

I can say i had good experience with them,grip was good on road and off road.But a puncture like that, i had never had in my life.

Yes it was a silly mistake, lost the air almost instantly, but bike was 100% stable.

Damned... I am sure that would have through many other tyres also ... it basically looks like a stone spear point.

Which tire pressure did you use please?

I had 38 psi before the puncture.

@@Biketrips 38 psi in offroad right? Do you recommend these tire for a 50/50 use?

@sebastianvittel74 yes, I don’t go very low, because you risk de-riming the tire, I don’t see much improvement on handling, yes, they have phenomenal side grip on road and very good off-road, soft mud is the weakest point, but I have seen a lot of people struggle more on those conditions.

Same problems with Karoo 3 , performance so so and finish quickly. Useless tyres
