MEUS LCG Chassis Carbon Fibre Kit for Axial Capra SCX10 SCX10 ii review. MEUS Racing sent me this carbon fibre chassis kit to review and give feedback. It looked nice, and I was intrigued to see how the 21% overdrive and forward motor mount would work, so I was looking forward to giving it an honest and open once-over. How did it turn out? Excellent looking rig! I’ve almost got everything to throw together my build. All I’m missing is my links. Any recommendations?
@The_RC_Family3 ай бұрын
Mine are all custom now, but I think I started off with a set of INJORA high clearance links. These ones worked for me s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EyLvizJ
@Bonitacreekrcs4 ай бұрын
I want to use the high clearance injora links,What lengths do you think I should get.i will probably use meus nylon portals but I might use the $109.95 flavor Amazon Capra aluminum axles
@The_RC_Family4 ай бұрын
I used the INJORA high clearance kit, and you can make that work, but I will be revising the links so my advice will change soon. As for dropping this on Capra Axles, I couldn't say. They might need different lengths, I mean they will. Let me know if you need a link to the links I am using. 😉

very informative video. Thank you. Just curious about the upper front link. Have you experimented with mounting it on the outside like Joe did? Curious to see the performance difference between the two. Also, why did you go with the Injora links vs Meus. Cost difference or is there a geometry difference? thanks in advance
@The_RC_Family2 ай бұрын
Hi Beng, I just shot some more video with it recently with all the geometry a little better sorted, the video is up on the channel. This thing is really starting to be very capable for what it is. I hate links outside the chassis rails, but I will do it when/if I need to. As for the links it's just a case of I had them here so I used them.

You should really try dual stage foams instead of printed inserts for these hard lines. It might help. The problem with printed foams is they cause bounce and instability, where you see the car move forward, then slip, then move forward, then slip. Because the insert is never perfectly even, it causes them to act like a spring. They load up, then they release and slip, load up, slip. Check 2FMRCs video. Could be something to test! 😁

Good stuff. What chassis would you recommend for a full class 3 build with Capra axles. I’d like something with an angled and forward mounted skid?
@The_RC_Family4 ай бұрын
Hey Chris, I would not be the best person to ask as I am relatively new to the crawler scene and do not do comping. That said I am building a class three (ish) rig soon on the ReVolt Chassis. That might be a cool rig to build with. WHAT PART OF THE WORLD ARE YOU IN?
