Amazing as always ....joy transcends thru music..... creating joy for this EARTH, when we need it so badly.... Love to hear you guys do SING SING SING, just to bring it all back full circle...... the links between the European heritage, the blues and jazz adopting these Europeans instruments.... adding that SWING!! Ellington fusing composition back into the music, the swing of Count Basie, into the SWING ERA,. It all links into jump Blues, early rnb, funk, disco, hip hop, house techno, dub step,! It all is the same shapes and sounds, its all linked so neatly and to hear you guys play the music of today on the instruments of the past, DRIVES HOIME THESE LINKS, so well!! For you guys to do Fletcher Henderson's SING SING SING as Goodman's Orchestra did it , but with your edge, the swells ...the swing.... the energy the past meeting the future.... I think people would BLEED out their ears hearing YOUR BAND do SWING music ...it would be thrilling!!! ( and also would show us all in some ways, how little music has changed....)
