Inuyasha The Secret of the Cursed Mask Sesshomaru Ending (Part 1 of 5)

During this run I completed the game with Kaname and the right conditions to obtain the Sesshomaru ending of the game. In this scenario Sesshomaru joins you for the battle against the large Hitogata boss and stays with you for the final battle with Naraku. In a way, beating Naraku with only Kaname and Sesshomaru is easier because Kaname can siphon hit points from Naraku and damage him each turn using the Chaotic flame attack and the fact that Sesshomaru is basically invincible.
To get this bonus ending you must go through the game and show favoritism to seshomaru only and keep interaction with the rest of the team at a minimum. This means that you will need to keep track of who you spend the mandatory off days with during the quest (It is possible to spread out the days so that you spend time with everyone once). Whenever possible you should always choose not to rest or stay when they give you a choice. You must also do the extra side quests (ones that appear on the over world as question marks) that consist of Sesshomaru and Rin. These are at the field of ignorance, where you will find a cut scene, and Pass to castle town.
In Minamo village you should choose to think about whoever is sick when Mahoro tries to trick you. When you destroy the crystal in narakus castle you need to go tell Sesshomaru about Rin instead of joining up with Inuyasha.
If all goes well and you limit personal time with your party you will see Sesshomarus image replace the other characters images when you save to a memory card slot. This means that you were successful and you have favored Sesshomaru the most and will get the bonus ending.

the strangest thing happened when i tried to get the sesshomaru ending, by the time i got to minamo village to be at the inn with the group i had said "no" to all voluntary night spending which meant i spent one night with shippo, inuyasha, sango and miroku in tht order and for some reason kagome was left out completely and Kaname ended up falling in love with inuyasha! idk wat i did wrong?!

I can see a lot of Sesshomaru fangirls doing everything to get this ending (also, lemme guess, Miroku cops a feel at Kaname and asks her to bear his kids if you choose her, yes?).

@EvilCarrotSauce This is the tricky part. If I remember corrently there are only three times that the events will pop up. so what you have to do is chose to do 2 of these 3 events (field of ignorance, road to kasagai, forest to tsuzami). However, at one point one event called road to castle town should become avaviable. It invovles a dumpling stand and Sesshamaru becomes invoved and your character trys to help him. And this event is REQUIRED to unlock his ending.

@MysteriousGirlof2011 The only time you get to fight with Sesshomaru when trying to get this ending other than the battles with the giant Hitogata and Naraku at the end is the part where you meet him in the Castle Ruins and lead him the right way towards the top of the castle. During this time, you can battle with him as much as you like to build up his stats and can even equip items to him. I tend to wander around the castle with him for about half an hour so his stats can build up lol

@lust4Gaara I have only obtained the sesshomaru ending using the boy character. Basically you will need to skip "Staying the night" or "resting" at inns whenever prompted. In situation where you are forced to stay the night and they do not prompt you you will need to hang out with each character only once (during your day off). There are some other choices which need to be made that I cover in the second paragraph of the description.

This game wasn't that bad actually, and I had fun playing it. If the battle system and graphics (mainly the doll-like, emotionless character models) had been improved a bit, and the dialogue, it maybe could've gotten more love.

@EvilCarrotSauce Its a bit tricky to get. I some how got it despite the fact i had Kaname spend all her time with Miroku. I was heading towards getting the Miroku ending (this was my seconed playthrough of the game) however, it apprently dosn't atter who you are close too if you do all the reuired events with Sesshamaru. I haven't played the game in a while so I'm trying to remember what excatly I did. There in total is 4 possible events with Sesshomaru.

@itachizlastresort I had that problem to the 1st time I went through it; the thing is, don't choose Inuyasha as one of the people you hang out with only once. Choose between any of the other four. Also, in any situations where you get a decision involving Sesshomaru, choose him instead of the other option. Also, there's several interval events (the ? ones) dealing with Sesshomaru; a couple of them I believe are essential for getting the Sesshomaru ending.

I am trying to settle a debate between two people about this game. Can someone please tell that is it true that you can obtain the Sesshomaru ending when you use the boy character and if so what happens in the end? Does the boy look to the sky thinking of Sesshomaru and does it show Sesshomaru afterwards looking at the sky? Can someone please tell me?

Their relationship is actually not that uncommon in American fiction either. In the show Dexter a girl falls in love with a guy who was her foster brother. They grew up as brother and sister but they are not related by blood. Same with Devil May Cry 4, the game is Japanese but it is popular in America. Foster siblings Nero and Kyrie fall in love. In the last book of the Twilight saga Jacob the wolf decides he is going to marry his friends infant baby when she is old enough.

:laugh: Well that's the first I heard. Usually everyone seems to hate Kikyo and like Kagome. I really couldn't understand why everyone hated Kikyo she was just so misunderstood in the series. I also hated it when everyone got on Inuyasha's case when he went to see her. The poor guy, that was his first love after all. If you don't mind me asking why do you hate Kagome?

Also point out about Inuyasha's father and mother too, she was in her late 20s and he was about 3000 years old. HUGE age difference there. Also a friend told me that he found out from another friend that in an early interview with Rumiko-sama that if she were to continue on after Inuyasha ended, Sesshomaru and Rin would end up together. YES!!! Plus, their relationship was not uncommon in Japanese fiction. Also, I really hate Kaname she was a serious waste.

Don't worry it is totally Rin and Sesshomaru all the way seeing as how Kaname is not a real canon character and was never part of Ruimko-sama's real storyline in the manga or anime (thank god). Rin and Sesshomaru are FOREVER!!

Ah yes, I understand that not everyone will like every character. The only type of haters that bug me are the ones that have to be a troll about it. Every Inuyasha video the comment sections are all spamed up with, "I hate that claypot Kikyou blah blah!" Even when Kikyou didn't do anything. XD But anyways no, I don't mind you hating Kagura.

I asked my friend that and they told me that their friend can't remember when it was. So, it's quite possible that maybe it wasn't real but lets face it from the way the series ended I think Rumiko-sama was dropping some hints in the last episode as to what would/was going to happen between Rin and Sesshomaru someday. Once again I am glad this c**t Kaname wasn't in the real Inuyasha canon at all. Sorry I just really hate her as much as I hate Kagura.

Aw man, I could write a book on why I hate her. I'll just state a reason or two in a nutshell, you already listed one of them. To me the sits were a failed comic relief after a while. She abused him and made him feel bad about caring about Kikyou. Reason 2 is, I find her character contradictory and very Mary Sue-ish. 90%of the time she's being kidnapped or in trouble somehow, then when it's time for a random plot convenience she's all invincible. -_- I wish I could elaborate but there's no room.

While I'm a Sess/Adult Rin fan myself, I have to be fair and say that Bella met Ed when they were both adult. Some fans feel that Sess is raising Rin making him her father. While I don't agree with the father thing either I just wanted to explain to you why that argument doesn't work against anti Sess/Rin fans. So instead I would tell them the fact of the matter is he is NOT her blood father or brother and they're just friends untill she gets older and their feelings for each other evolve. ^_^
