Mevo Plus Review: All the Details, Including Accuracy Test Results!

Nice review. I picked a Mevo+ second hand for US$500 and was happily surprised that the Pro Package was also included. I have just under 8ft (7'10") from monitor to ball and 10ft from ball to screen. I have had no unrecorded shots as of yet and they seem accurate. I am around a 16 handicap golfer so am not consistent enough to actually know my distances and shot shape though.. How do you know that it needs 12ft to the screen to be accurate? Is data significantly different if you only have 10ft? I could switch around my setup in my shed to get the extra distance but it would be quite a hassle. Thanks.

we had talked to some mevo plus users who went for the absolute minimum of 16 feet and had some inconsistent readings but for them they were forgetting about the additional space behind the launch monitor to the back wall and behind the hitting screen which adds a few more feet. So their ball flight was ending up being less than 8 feet. We recommend 20 feet total to cover for that. Sounds like at 18 feet you are doing good. And a great deal for pro package!

@@golfible Thanks for the response. Does there need to be space behind the Mevo+ and a wall? I have mine set up with the stand almost touch the wall behind it. I can't imagine there would be a problem with that but please let me know if there is. Thanks. The biggest problem with the memo is battery life. It's terrible and having to hook up a battery pack and then recharge that battery pack is a bit of a pain! Thanks.

@@John-ei5uz If it works for you, you're good to go. Some people just prefer to have a gap to the wall to avoid the ball hitting it through the net
