The Generation V games were something special. I don't care how many people bitch about the Pokemon, or Team Plasma, or any other nitpicks they find, these games were something else. From Black and White's legitimately heartwarming conclusion, to the sheer devastation Team Plasma is capable of causing in B2W2, these games are something new and wonderful, and I don't think Pokemon has quite made a game like them since. I'm so glad Pokemon's story is getting more and more advanced, and more serious. It's not just about a group of evil goons and their corporate leader of a boss anymore. It's about kids older than 10 who understand the consequences of things happening, who have actual feeling and participate in the story, taking on groups of truly evil people, people who want to rule or even destroy the world, become all-powerful, make a world for themselves, and who aren't afraid to hurt a lot of people or manipulate innocents to get what they want. Generation V solidified that story-driven narrative, and I can only hope Generation VII brings something amazing to the table as well.

BW and BW2 were possibly the most emotionally best pokemon games ever made. I'm not sure why people hate on them so much, while the pokemon ideas and such were not that good the story, music, and maturity really made up for it. It was a quick game but if you really took everything in and took it slowly it is the best pokemon game by far. I know people are gonna ask about sun and moon, all I can say is, while the game and quality improved also some ideas were very cool, there just wasn't as much to connect to and understand in them as BW.

I'm currently replaying BW and love it. I love how N truly believes what he is doing is purely for the good of Pokemon. I love how Ghetsis is willing to do anything to accomplish his goals. I love the mysterious relationship N and Ghetsis have. I love that N was chosen by the legends because his intentions are pure. I adore Cheren and Bianca because they feel like actual friends who have known you forever. This game not only had an incredible soundtrack, it had great characters, a good overworld, and some great Pokemon such as my first ever Pokemon Snivy! On top of that, they added new features very well and mastered old ones perfectly. Lastly I love how they force you to try something new instead of rehashing the same old Pokemon team.

This song was my favorite song so I stopped in Nimbasa City and just listened to it for about 2 hours. The thumbnail reminds me of me(left) another character(middle) and N just staying there and remembering everything while walking through Castellia City. Seeing Everyone grow. They see all of the Gym Leaders discovering more about themselves. They see that Alder has backed down from his champion spot, and that Iris is the new champion. They see Ex-Team plasma members helping injured pokemon. N made a wish, he wanted a better world. He had the power to make that wish come true. He made that dream a realty and it became truth/ideals. It's 2020 and in these dark times of isolation, due to the virus, I still play this song but not for the present times but just to look back on my life before. My friends, family, school life, they all seem like a fragment of memory to me now and this song makes me think a lot about that. In relation to playing every pokemon game up to pokemon Ultra Sun, pokemon black and white were the peak of my pokemon experience, competitive battling, and just pure happiness in the franchise. It was the first real moving sprite game with brand new pokemon since Sinnoh and my little sister and I were so thrilled after seeing Tepig, Snivy, and Ashowatt. Now I look at the recent games and it is sadly nothing short of a DLC grab. I remember when pokemon such as Kyeurem used to be actually legendary... But overall, I know this post may never be seen as it has been years since this was uploaded but ya. I miss the past my friends, the good old days.

When I played X and Y, and found this theme, It hit me hard. BW was the game that truly made wanted me to explore, and to see that Game Freak felt the same... it hits home. I think its fitting that I quit on Gen 8, because... that will be the mark where my trilogies end, and I have truly gained respect for these little guys. this remix represents how much I've grown, and how much I can look back for memories as a kid. Going all the way to the Elite Four and losing, finding my first Shiny (A lillipup, fitting how much I wanted a dog), Getting to Meet Cynthia, and having achieved Victory on my first try, then learning she's from Sinnoh, and knowing all of this parallel world, I went to find a platinum cartridge, a gift from uncle, meeting my favorite Pokemon Honchkrow, then led me to the battle frontier to PikaWu, and stumbling on Accident to learning about Reborn, then getting my ass kicked and learning the ins and outs of the meta-game, Which when X and Y came out... well then you know what happens, then OrAs was Hoenn confirmed with surrounding friends and competitive battling, which led me to going back to my Heartgold Box I was given at 11. I'd completed so many Pokedexes. Then Sun and Moon came out. I thought I'd be smart and avoid spoilers outside my starter... and the hype wore off. Yeah it was good, Really good, but I'm starting to were off it's magic. So... I decided, when Lillie hit me with the question: "What am I going after I finished this island challenge? -Fill My Pokedex -Get Stronger ...-I don't know". ...I hadn't felt this way in a really, really long time. So I replied with I don't know. I didn't pay attention to the rest of the text... I got what I needed. I decided that day, that the 8th Generation would be my finale. After that... that would be all I'd do. I can't run on this train forever... I still have a family to care for. That doesn't mean I won't come back or stop Video games period. I just... need to recharge the magic. I'll play ultra Moon, but not fully. ...Please, for my finale, Game Freak, don't screw this one up.

Goddamn. This song works with so many emotions. If I'm happy, I envision a montage of me and my friends have some good old group camaraderie. So I wanted to comment yesterday, but I was on Skype all day so I didn't feel like I could properly take the time to listen to this, which I've done now! Of course, as usual your instrumentation is gorgeous. Love the piano, the strings are incredible, and the percussion is fantastic as well. Overall arrangement is super solid, although one tweak I would have made is when the solo violin comes in to counter the melody (came in at around two minutes) I think it might have been cooler if it was a bit drier. That may just be me, but I think it would have added sort of a neat texture. Great work, buddy! Can't wait to hear what's next!

Emotion... My second favorite theme in all of Pokemon (besides Lilycove City(which you should totally remix by the way)) remixed into such an amazing work of art. I listened to the first remix of Emotion and I thought it was nice, but always kinda wanted a more true-ish remix, and here we are with this. I love the part at about 1:57 that part really put me in a trance. I almost had a tear come from my eye from emotions I felt while listening (haha I'm so funny). BW/2 are my second favorite games in the series. They give me a sense of love and pride towards knowing that I've accomplished something. Not just that I became the champion of the region, but the hero of someone's heart. They have a wonderful story and beautiful characters, I've never felt so moved from a pokemon game since Mystery Dungeon Explorers' ending, and before that Xenoblade Chronicles. I am still listening to this masterpiece even after a long time . I forgot about it before , but I am glad I remembered this now . The Generation 1,2,3,4,5 games were masterpieces . I know that now there are more generations but there will be generation better than 1,2,3,4,5 . Those were lots of people's including my childhood . I am very glad that I was introduced to these games .

U have no idea how much this song means to me. Black and white were my first Pokémon games ever wich introduced me to a whole world of games and tv and trading cards and manga. It's thanks to these games that my whole life was changed. They have had such a huge impact on me growing up. I hadn't actually played black and white in awhile but after hearing this and remembering this beautiful peace of music it brought a tear to my eye. Thank you so much. This means so much.

These games.. man these games are what got me into gaming. I was... hmm... I was 8 when these games came out. Rarely played a videogame in my life, I decided, hey, the trailer for this game looks cool. I wanna try it. So I did, and to this day I don't think a Pokemon game has pulled me in the way these games did. Oshawott being my second ever Pokemon starter holds a place in my heart because it's the first Pokemon I've ever completed the league with. The soundtrack to these games is everything above a masterpiece. Burgh's gym theme in black and white 2 is my favorite theme in any Pokemon game because of how soft and calming it is. Reshiram, the fire breathing goddamn dragon is my favorite Pokemon of all. Oshawott is my favorite water starter. And these games hold my favorite soundtrack ever. Gen 5 will always be special to me, as it gave me some of my favorite gaming memories, and it's brought me into a world, a community I could never be anything less than proud to be in. This community is amazing, this community is warming, and this community brought me towards some of my closest friends. I owe my childhood to GameFreak, and honestly, I couldn't be any more happy to say that. I want Sword and Shield to be good, I want the games to succeed, but.. I want Gamefreak to fall back to what they did with gen 5 and bring back something truly special. This song actually made me emotional, I appreciate you for making this video

Pokemon Black & White was overall the best game ever. Despite me disliking Pokemon, when I was little and seeing N disappear god- I cried so much, he reminded me of a friend I’ve developed over the past years. In the end he was a kind person and I misjudged him and in all truth he wanted to protect me more than ever. However, I had to say goodbye to him as he was a photographer and wanted to travel around the world. He was the only person I could ever call a friend and helped me throughout all the bullying I went through as a child. I’ll never forget those days, and *ill never forget the days I’ve played black and white with him.*

Pokemon white was my first game, and well I was a stupid kid who only had watched the anime and had never even known the games existed so when I got my first pokemon game I decided to skip through all the text because I wanted pokemon battles and action... that is now one of my biggest regrets, especially since the reason I prefer the mystery dungeon games because they are more emotional and story based. Every time I go and listen to this song I see all these comments talking about how great the story was and I wish I could restart my game, but my first team has so much emotional value I couldn't bare to reset it. But this is why I can't talk trash about these games.
