My mom used to sell plates to construction workers and I remember this food right here and anything that was left over. I would warm that baby up on the stove. I would fry me up some tortillas and go to town on it but my mom‘s food is so good. It wouldn’t be hardly any left after she went out selling them, she had regular customers by the boatload I missed those days after my mom’s accident she doesn’t cook like this anymore. She’s all vegan type now.😢😢 but damn you did that and I’m going to make this tomorrow.

Can you successfully use an air fryer or frypan for all the various flatbreads? You seem to deep fry most of them, and I need to get away from deep frying for health reasons. Beuatiful food though, and affordable ingredients. I think the magic ingredient in Mexican food is cumin. I discovered it a few years ago, as the single spice in tabbouleh, and then started to recognize the flavour in chili etc. Hadn't realized I'd been eating cumin all my life.

I just found your taquito video by accident and I’m so glad I did! I’ve been making mine wrong, I think. I always thought the corn tortillas were the ones to use but yours look like the white flour kind. Whenever I roll corn tortillas, I either have to use toothpicks to hold the roll together or bake them down on the sealed side. I’ve never fried them before but that’s definitely going to be the way I’ll make them going forward. Should I use small white flour tortillas?
