3D Modeling a Mexican Glass in Blender 3.6 tutorial
In this video, I use a geometrical empirical method to create a precise modeling of an amazing mexican designed glass. The method might be surprising, yet it comes from professional practical methods, used by example when making jewelry by hand, where dividing space is fundamental.
Even if you know that the angle for your divisions is, by example in this case 36 degrees, making references marks on, let's say a gold ring, because surprisingly more fun in real life, gold is slippery for a starter, and also kind of small. If you have never tried to make markings on a simple round ring, you obviously can't suspect the problems you'll face. Yet it is a very good practice to use similar methods in 3D.
