Mexican Gothic sounds interesting, I want to buy and read it some day! :D I also want to read The Switch because I liked The Flatshare. And I have The Switch on my bookshelf. Beth O'Leary seems to write a bit different (romantic) books, not just that instant falling in love. And I really like that! But I have this huge pile of library books to read first and also the christmas-tbr... The eternal struggle of a book nerd. And I really love your videos, they are so cozy and it is just so nice to hear you talk about your bookish opinions! :)

Unfortunately Applebys bookshop closed about five years ago. It was a lovely bookshop. BTW Alnwick is pronounced anick Glad you enjoyed your visit. :)

I used to live near we are wellness! I'm in Huddersfield now but that's not too far. I have never been to a studio yoga class before - always done it at home. It looks beautiful there though and I am definitely tempted to drive over ha xx

Alnwick is so lovely- it's really close to where I grew up and I've only ever been to the castle and gardens would definitely recommend you visit it is so scenic there! Your reading taste is so similar to mine I really want to read Mexican Gothic and I loved The Flatshare and really need to get around to The Switch- it is on my TBR :)

Ohhh you're watching The Haunting of Hill House! I loved this show so much. It is actually scary (which most horror shows are not...) and still there's this beautiful family story in it. I think I wanna rewatch it soon. :) Can't wait for the second season. I can't even remember when we had a power outage here. Crazy. Having that after an episode of HoHH, I would have died. :D I will start Mexican Gothic today. So excited!

The power cut after watching HoHH was SPOOKY😂 but I’m loving the show - only 2 episodes left! Like you say, it’s got all the typical horror elements but then also a really great complicated family story so it’s super interesting!

And The Switch by Beth O’Leary is super cozy! I’ve read this book twice this past month! The edition in English and the edition in Portuguese!
