I’m a U.S. citizen born and raised but my mom born and raised in Mexico even said she lives way better here than in Mexico. and also there wasn’t really that much violence in Mexico back when my mom lived there, but now there is a lot. since we live so close to the border, my childhood friend went to Mexico for vacation and he got murdered by cartel. as much as my mom misses Mexico she says she wouldn’t wanna go back at least not now with how much violence there is and that’s mostly because of the cartel.

Many coming here from Mexico don't plan on staying, they come here to work and they have multiple families living together and everyone works. I'm Mexican born naturalized US citizen. this type of celebration is about " Me, me. me show off" they are very disruptive. Mexicans in Mexico do not support this type of wild disrespectful Mexican Independence Day. The US allows it because they allow the Irish Saint Patrick's Day parade in New York and Chinese New Year a whole week celebration in San Francisco. Participants in any parades should not be allowed to be wild and disruptive, they should be jailed. I'm a Mexican-born, naturalized US citizen I like to celebrate Mexican festivities when I'm in Mexico. I work and participate of many activities with people from Mexico. None of the people I know would have been in that gang filled party. Maybe they would have watch a show, eat from the stands, but not be there for the madness. Furthermore, they would be happy if a bunch of the people there were charged with disorderly conduct and deported.
