We speak Chavacano here. I can understand 75% of Spanish words since its too similar. We also have a song here that goes; “El chavacano que umpoquito Español” which translates to “Chavacano is a little bit Spanish”. So happy to see the moms enjoy Jollibee. They were not the biggest fan of the Filipino snacks episode but at least Jollibee somehow redeemed that. I was hoping that they at least like some of the menu because Mexicans are afterall our long lost brothers and sisters in that part of the world.
