I went thru the same episodes as you with sleep paralysis. The laying on the side and all. I went thru this for a whole year.. Scary as f... My episode was a black shadow that I always saw during the episodes. I finally told a friend of mine that goes to church, she came to my house .. my family and I blessed the whole house with holy water and an our father prayer. Haven't had an episode ever since...
