Thanks Guys. Very cool, especially the subtitles at the end! Maybe you could do a video about how to speak with the people en una optica when buying eyeglasses or how to make an appointment with a dental or medical receptionist. A lot of people come to Mexico for medical care but don't speak Spanish very well.

¡Órale! Como siempre, gracias por este video! Día a día entiendo más y más, pero ciertamente no todo ... tal vez la mitad. Por cierto, ¡las señoritas también son chidas. (does one feminize "chido"?) Nota: Se supone que la segunda oración se traduce: "Day by day". Hubiera pensado que sería "día por día". But not according to Google translate

The automatically generated subtitles are very, very bad. It is only possible to learn Mexican slang from this if you already have very high listening comprehension for fast Spanish and only need to add knowledge of Mexican slang. Not good for Americans trying to improve listening comprehension. The auto subtitles put "no manchester" for "no manches" as one small example of many.

Sure, we know that the automatically generated subtitles are not very accurate. That’s why we hard coded the subtitles along with its translation. I’d bet you can improve your experience if you make use of these subtitles :) Thanks for the feedback!

Instead of the word sketch, Skit is what Americans use more. Just an FYI :)

The auto generated subtitles are horrible and waaaaaaay off. Other channels that type in the subtitles are always 100% accurate

At 1:03 you should have used the word UNDERSTAND instead of UNDERSTOOD. At 1:07 you should should have said. .. 'we didn't SAY it, they said it.'

Is there Mexican slang for going “bar-hopping”? That is going to a bar, having one or may be two drinks, then going to a different bar, then another. Having one maybe two drinks at each.place. “Let’s go bar-hopping tonight.”
@Mextalki
@Mextalki 3 жыл бұрын
Lo más cercano que tenemos es decir: ir a fiestear, pero no es precisamente go bar-hopping. I guess we don’t have a verb for that but we definitely need one!
