"There are also pyramids in Mexico. Nobody questions who built those!" This is one of my favorite bits of all time!
@imatiu Жыл бұрын
The funny thing about those pyramids is that we have no clue who built them, the oldest civilization we know of in Mexico have mentions of the pyramids being built by certain civilization but we have no records of them, we only have records of other civilizations mentioning them. We do know they had some really advanced technology for the time, considering there was a pool of liquid mercury under one of the pyramids, which requires some processing to be obtained from rocks.
@pelonloc Жыл бұрын
@@imatiu The only pyramids nobody knows who really build those are the ones in Teotihuacan, the other ones people know who build them.
@imatiu Жыл бұрын
@@pelonloc There are the ones in Teotihuacán but those aren't the only ones, there is one in Peru, Caral-Supe which is a civilization we know almost nothing about, there is the one in Java, Gunung Padang, with a different shape to Mexican pyramids and that is also located in the Ice Age geological stratum so contemporary science says there was no one that could have build it and there is another pyramid in Mexico that is also pre Aztecs.
@pelonloc Жыл бұрын
@@imatiu We are talking about pyramids in Mexico, the ONLY ones IN MEXICO nobody knows who build them are Teotihuacan, Peru is not Mexico...the rest of Pyramids INSIDE of Mexico they know which civ or group build them. Now other pyramids around the world nobody knows who build them, you are the only talking about this. We are talking about the ones inside the Mexican Union.
@imatiu Жыл бұрын
@@pelonloc and like I said there are others in Mexico that we don't know who exactly built them, they are attributed to the Olmecs but we don't actually know who the Olmecs were. It's like saying that you know Banksy made a painting, yes you know who did it, but you don't know who is that person. One example would be the "Complejo C" which is the oldest pyramid in Mexico and is attributed to Olmecs but we don't actually know shit about Olmecs.
