Overview of the international arrivals and transfer process at Mexico City (MEX) Benito Juárez International Airport. MEX has two terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Aeromexico uses both terminals but bases its operations out of Terminal 2, with mostly domestic flights departing from Terminal 1.

I’m from the states I always arrive & leave through this airport they definitely need to upgrade it big time but you get use to it eventually lol

Wish the no visa required statements would stop. Visas are always required, just that they are granted upon arrival. All passports will receive an entry stamp and exit stamp. Frankly I find terminal one better for departures. Better places to sit and waste time. Not nearly so at Terminal 2. Where there often is no place to sit at all.

CDMX airport is a real shame. Crowded, small, somewhat dirty, outdated. You’d think Mexico would pump some pesos into this place.

Obsolete, ugly, shit-stinking airport. The worst of its class in the World. Definitely the worst in Mexico in comparison with Monterry, Tijuana and Guadalajara (these three cities have very nice ones)
