I just arrived in Queretaro this week. I immediately began planning on how to eat healthier once I settle in and find an apartment. No more processed, modified or fake foods.

That's great! Go to mercado or local vegetable stores, you find fresher vegetables there.

Turkeys here in MI prior to Thanksgiving were $0.40/lb so a 14 lb. bird would be just under $7. The Regio toilet paper would be $0.03 less per roll than I pay at Sam's Club here. I buy the Brownberry 100% Whole Wheat bread and it's around $5/loaf. Wow, $81 for all of those groceries isn't bad.

Lol wow turkey price is way better there! Toliet paper roll is not bad price in Sams club there. Some products are more expensive in Mexico but we try to stick to standard food we need not to buy over priced food especially those junk food.

Very helpful! The meat looks good quality. Prices are cheaper than in USA. By about $3-5/lb depends on if organic, non- GMO or not

Thank you Angela! Yeah Generally, meats are cheaper here except that chicken breast, but its more like farm raised chicken here , i think thats why it's a bit more expensive here. 😅

My balonie has a first name, it's O S C A R! LOL Thanks for doing this one. We are to the point where we don't know what things cost in the USA anymore, but we know prices went up everywhere. We are really bad about trying to do any dollar conversions while we are actually shopping too. As long as the budget stays under $500/month, I'm happy. 🤣Good job, guys! Very informative! ~Gina

Yeah Oscar.lol. We are so used to think in pesos even we went back to us , I still covert dollars to pesos... $500 monthly budget is not bad, but we all know it always goes more... food in cdmx are so good, we eat out more than we were in Qro. Landy

Thanks for the supermarket food prices video. 😊 Noticed that you don’t use a list for grocery shopping, you go for what you like or the cheapest version. To use your video information, 1. it will be great if you could break down what is your family weekly/monthly budget? Or do you use a budget? 2. Monthly gasoline/insurance prices to get an idea of monthly expenses to live there. I see your channel as having reached FI, but what is your annual budget for living…4%, 10%? of your investments? How do you generate more income? What is your rate of savings, investing? I would love to see more comparative data in your videos/ channel as you guys are applying Geoarbitrage and I’m very interested in that. Why are you renting in CDMX instead of buying? Thank you!

You mean the meat? We bought pork meat from mercados here is 130pesos/kg, not really cheaper. havent compared the ground beaf price yet, but we know chicken prices are even more in mercado. We do buy vegetables in mercado, it will be in the next episode.
