I just spent 1 month traveling around Mexico, and my last stop was the capital, Mexico City! It’s located 2200 meters above sea level, and it’s one of the largest metropolitan cities in the world. With its 22 million inhabitants, it’s become incredibly dense, hectic, loud, and overwhelming, BUT I loved it!
In today’s episode, I had the pleasure of working with Get Your Guide, an online travel agency specializing in guided tours and excursions. They offer over 60,000 curated experiences in more than 3,600 destinations worldwide. I used Get Your Guide to book a lot of the activities in today’s episode, it was so easy, and I had the best time!
If you are traveling to a new country or being a tourist in your own city, make sure to check out Get Your Guide! They have everything from skip-the-line tickets to tourist attractions, food tours, Mezcal tasting, boat trips, and more.
One way you can support my channel is to use these links to book your next adventures!
You pay the same price, but I earn a little commission from the sale, which goes towards producing my travel series here on KZbin ❤️ Thank you for your support!

Stay safe.

It's safer than Chicago. My wife and I live in Morelia, about 180 miles West of Mexico City. Most Mexican cities are pretty safe, as long as you don't get involved in criminal activities. The most dangerous areas are near the US border, such as Tijuana and Juarez.

I 100% agree with you! The people in Mexico City were so welcoming, and the food was incredible! And I love what you write at the end, this is so true! Thanks for the tips Danielle! There was so many parks I wanted to check out. I have to laugh that we weren't even able to go to the the castle in Chapultepec, I found it weird that parks had a closing time in Mexico City, but I guess it's for safety? Thank you so much JoAnna! I always strive for making my videos as insightful as possible, so happy you enjoyed it! Ugh you definitely should, it's such a stunning place! But it's massive, but you will have the best time in the neighborhoods I mentioned at the end of the video ❤️ They have all the best vintage stores etc! I will do my best in uploading that video, my vintage video from Rome actually did pretty good! Where are you from? I would love to visit your little store one day! I do have to say one thing, the vintage prices are way better in New York City compared to Mexico, I think the stores in Mexico city was curated way better, and as I said it was like small museums. But New York have way better prices. Hugs from Camilla

The musician sings a very tradicional song called ‘Querreque’ from La Huasteca, a vast region shared by Veracruz, Hidalgo, San Luis y Tamaulipas, and the tradition is to make up ‘coplas’ or lyrics in a funny way over ‘Querreque’ music base.

Nice vlog! You missed some of my favorite vegan restaurants in Mexico City! In case someone craves food from south east Mexico (Oaxaca, Chiapas, Yucatan), "Na Tlali" in the San Angel neighborhood is awesome for that. Also "Vegamo", which you can find both in the Centro and the Roma neighborhoods, if you're into ramen "V-Ramen" is a great place, available also in Roma and close to San Angel, near the UNAM university, and if you like more experimental food "Mi Dulce Jacalito" is in the Santa Maria la Ribera neighborhood, and they have delicious food with decorations and a bit of molecular stuff too, the place where it's located is nothing special but if you ask to sit upstairs you'll find a very cozy Van Gogh decorated space. Vegan food in Mexico City is definitely a growing and very tasty scene!

I love this video! Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
