According to how the Rules are written, Max exploited the situation perfectly. Norris even commented on the radio at the time that he should allow Max to re-pass and then go after Him again. You can see His hesitation at turn 1, but McKaren instructed Lando otherwise. McKaren lost that position for Lando. In fact, it is looking more and more as if it is McKaren that has cost Lando The Championship even more than Lando Himself.

Well sprint weekend wasnt a good chocie for upgrades, maybe mclaren and rbr are better but couldnt optimize better. Mexico another outlier and then again sprint.

I have to agree on that. 1 practice session is never enough to optimize these cars. McLaren took like 2 races to optimize their Miami package

No one knows. I also heard that Ferrari wouldnt do any upgrades, actually, a lot of teams are done upgrading now as the end of the season is nearing (thats what I heard anyway)

Ferrari still have bits to come. They never introduced upgrades at Austin, but they had upgrades lined up for that GP. Yet they decided to hold to verify the working compatibility of the Monza floor and Singapore front wing. Austin is an all-round circuit, good test for cars and the SF-24 passed it. So now Ferrari will bring small bits, mostly to gather data for the 2025 car.

Mercedes has a peculiar weakness. They lose performance at high temperatures 🌡➡️ Austin, Hungary, Azerbaijan all examples. Mexico weather is all cool, like really cool, benefitting Mercedes. That's my theory. Open to your idea as well 💡
