Glass is recycled in Mexico. They basically buy a basket sort thing with a specific amount and they get charged if a bottle is missing.

WOO! I had the hardest time handing that backpack over to you. should have bought one for myself. Note to self- always go overboard on souvenirs. If you don't, you'll regret it. haha!

Were you scared of the Zika disease while in Mexico?

It was definitely something to be cautious of but I wasn't pregnant when I went (which I wouldn't have gone at all if I was) and I was very disciplined about wearing bug spray every day and soaking my clothes in permethrin before I went. I can proudly say that I didn't get bit ONCE while I was there which was a pretty big accomplishment for me! :)
