An article by a Mexican university just came out stating whole Mexican families are moving to the US border. Violence erupted in a town South of Mexico that displaced 4,000 people. Mexican government is allowing cartels to run freely and do whatever they want.

For you non-border state viewers ,walls don't really stop them they even drill sophisticated tunnels under & across the Rio Grande, build a 20ft high fence & they will built a 22ft ladder or any other device that they can toss over the fence then climb up, they also make openings on any fence big enough to squeeze through, or simply walk to the many areas that are fenceless. In TX they come over in the back of unchecked 18 wheelers many die from heatstroke's. This problem is a lot bigger than most people think.

No, National Guard has been guarding the border for a while now. I was near the border in TJ last year trying to get some footage for youtube and they thought I was a migrant trying to cross illegally until they saw my Mexican ID, they still stole like $6k pesos and my iphone though.
