They are, this report is incomplete. They aren’t denying people, they are following UN guidelines, additionally some border governors want the Mexico citizens to go back to their states of origin and the gov. Is providing bus access and some money support for the way. It’s small but these reporters obviously don’t listen to the daily 2 hour morning meetings and presentations the Mexico gov does. I just have to add that Mexico can only abide by UN guidelines, all the migrants arrive in Mexico and they can’t turn them away, they have to act under the goodwill and expect for them to petition to stay in Mexico but because the U.S. policies were so lax (under Biden), many of them immediately apply for the U.S. process and many of them rip up their passports too so that they can’t be ID’ed. Now that Trump changed the policies back to what he had before, Mexico is adapting again…. Y’all should just remember that the US is the greatest country on earth and when that country says, or implies, that it’s open season to migrate there, you’re going to get … people migrating there. We in Mexico don’t like the mass immigration either. We are not against the Trump policies. In fact the Mexico government named the return program something like “return hugs” and has meals already planned for the border towns. We also have a need for more people but want our own people back, however migrants aren’t going to be turned away, but they are going to be guided to how they can apply to stay or to go back to their country. Just like Mexico has done from the start, only now, there is no Vacancy sign at the U.S. border. The major hurdle was Biden and now we can move on. Let’s eliminate the cartels on both sides because as much as you hate them in the US, we hate them more in Mexico. Edit: also what I’m implying here is that this problem of mass migration, wasn’t started by Mexico, if y’all had actually built a wall (because the issue is you don’t want migrants going in… to be fair Mexico doesn’t want to pay for it because logically Americans are not trying to break into Mexico - and Don’t, we want y’all for vacations not gentrifications),if y’all had let Trump build the wall and keep remain in Mexico none of this would have happened, so no it’s not just Mexico’s problem. Do everything you can and keep Republicans in office until your entire country finally understands that borders are not racist and immigration policies have to improve so that it’s fair and doesn’t cause these issues anymore. From my end here I just advocate for better infrastructure here so we can make more Mexico jobs here and hopefully not have to rely so much on US or foreign companies. Actually that’s what Mexico is trying to do… get China out because they are here too. We have shared goals, let’s not focus on insulting each other or pointing fingers anymore. I love both countries and we should be building alliances. The East is coming for all of us, and like it or not, the Americas all still have a “western” and native culture… we have to keep it that way or else dark days are coming.
