Here it is not expensive.,in my point of view if you are coming from a different place, Mostly it is the food and accommodation which is expensive., That too depending on your choice of comfort. Mostly all the kerala people have a choice to learn kalari around that area with Very less fees like between Rs500-1000 per month. Some places teach even for free!)

Indian Martial Arts have very common systems & hence its easier for Indian-Govt to merge them to create a Unified National Martial-Arts system. This Unified Indian Martial-Arts system must be divide in to 3-forms:- (1) Striking-Arts (2) Grappling-Arts (3) Weapons-Arts All of these Arts must be taught in Govt-Schools from 6th-Std. "Striking-Arts" must be created by combining techniques & practices of these Arts:- (1) Adithada (2) Muay-Thai (3) Lethwei (4) Kyokushin Karate (5) Shotokan Karate For Students from 6th to 12 Std, it must be banned to hit the Head with:- (1) Punches (2) Elbows (3) Knees (4) Headbutts But for Students in 9th to 12th std, all the above 4 strikes must be allowed but with protective Gear like that in Karate & Taekwondo. "Grappling-Arts" must be developed by combining the techniques & principles of:- (1) Indian Freestyle Wreslting (2) Sambo (3) BJJ (4) Judo (5) Aikido Choke-holds should be allowed for only Students from 9th-Std & Above. "Weapons-Arts" must be about practicing Indian weapons, techniques & principles. These must be merged with Arts of:- (1) Kalaripyattu (2) Sliambam (3) Gatka (4) Escrima (5) Kendo "Weapons-Arts" must be further divided in to 2-forms:- (1) Sparring with Wooden/Plastic weapons (2) Demonstrations The basic Weapons for this art-form must be:- (1) Staff => Bamboo & Wooden (2) Short-Stick (3) Sword & Shield (4) Daggers & Knives (5) Spear & Shield (6) Mace & Hammers (7) Axe (8) Traditional Archery
