I have had mine for almost 2 years have handled it a bit all it has is a tiny slit on both shoulders barley visible. I'll describe the suit as what those white work gloves tht have a orange rubber coat on the palm side . It's durable but eventually it will wear. I changed his pose to a regular standing pose now but all in all he's held up really good

Makes me wonder if you can apply some sort of leather conditioner on the delicate materials to keep it from cracking.

I wouldn't try. Just make sure hands are clean when handling and don't over stretch or manipulate the rubber material I've handle mine pretty rough for a collector and its basically in great condition

schwiggity maybe for you. My joints are still super tight and I play with it almost everyday. You can’t leave a mezco posed in a certain way for very long without damaging the cloth 🤦🏽‍♂️ for me, MAFEX ALL DAY.

I love Mezco I think their Figures are some of the best looking, BUT if you want to do a lot of posing you probably will destroy the figure.

Great review man. I just jumped on the Mezco train recently and I've really wanted to pull the trigger on this one, but I haven't yet. After your review I'm still conflicted between this one or the really expensive Mafex one that just came out. My biggest beef with most Spideys are all the joints you see when posing and taking pics. The exposed butterfly joints really bother me from a aesthetic point of view. The beauty of Mezco is that's all hidden, but you lose some poseability and like you mentioned, potential damage to the suit. I'm so conflicted. I don't know what to do lol.

I feel like they could have done this one like the Batman Beyond figure. It is mostly cloth and I mess with mine all the times and have had no problems. I'm sure that style would work for the Spider-Man figures.

Excellent review, not sure why the figure looked bad on the other reviews. You’re right about the eyes but I can let it slide. I got mine preordered at BBTS but now I’m concerned about the material. I don’t have any QC issues on any of my Mezco(I have 11). I’ll have to check my Comic Spidey to see how the material is holding up because I do have it in a dynamic pose.

I'm thinking the issue with the eyes might just be the glare from the shiny black parts around the eyes. It looked off to me as well, but it seems like they line up with the web lines on the mask.

Some really nice things here but eh yeah overall just not impressed enough for me to go for it. The break up of the plastic head/neck and real textured material doesn't mesh well in my opinion. The blue parts look way too much like denim for me. Still lots of positives are clear. Great review as always bro!
