I would like to see Mezco do a superman figure run they way they did evolution of Batman run as of late. I’ve only been a collector of Mezco for about 8 months and the superman figures that exist are not only sub par but also crazy scalper prices. We need a new Mezco superman run.

Man, I'd like them to do a great nick fury with interchangeable black and white man head and hands, I think that sort of character lends itself perfectly to Mezco's style

The Moon knight you're referring to was drawn by Davin Finch, that's about the same time he was the illustrator for the New Avengers.

I think, for the most part, this is one of their best redesigns. Love the details and colour variation. The addition of the black head sculpt would be cool but my only issue is that the knee guard design doesn't justify blocking the ankle rocker. They should never design something that unnecessarily hinders articulation as it's created for a figure, not a movie, comic etc. Mezco is doing interchangeable capes - Supreme Knight will have it and Batman - 1989 Edition. I skipped Magneto, hoping to see a deluxe version; he originally came with four heads. Good review as always.

Thanks. I agree this is one of mezcos best redesigns, it feels original but doesn't stray to far from the look we love. I can't wait to see that interchangeable cape situation, I completely forgot that the supreme knight listing mentioned it. Hopefully it comes out good.

Asking for it to have that extra headsculpt that the exclusive version had is something Mezco seems to be moving away from. You usually have to collect the Px, standard and exclusives if you want to grab all headsculpts available for a figure.

Looks like the legs on classic moonknight is better or bigger than the exclusive. And that meshy material could be why I feel the older version has less articulation, or its harder for the legs than the newer.

I'm at 24 Mezco's and I threw out like 3 boxes a few weeks ago (Netflix DD, Netflix Punisher and Brown/Yellow Wolverine) but yeah, this figure is awesome. My main concern is it getting dirty cause I don't display my figs behind glass but eh, he'll be battle damaged if anything.

The original Moon knight did have a white mask it was the shadow from the cowl that made it look black unless you have a different "classic" Moon Knight.

The original Moon Knight from 1975 to 1982 had a metallic Jet Silver costume that only appeared white under certain light due to how the light reflected off his costume. Similar to how the moon appears white to us, but is actually dark grey (this according to Doug Moench, Moon Knight's creator and original series writer). To confuse you even further, The Fist of Khonshu era Moon Knight costume was still referred to as "Jet Silver" even though they didn't bother to draw shadows on the costume and just left it completely white. Then the 90's era Moon Knight went back and further giving him either a white costume or silver costume. If you want to see how Moon Knight is suppose to look outside of the original Doug Moench comics, check out either the Bowen Moon Knight statue or the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 video game. Both of which gave Moon Knight his traditional Jet Silver look. I honestly prefer his Jet Silver look since well for one, that Mezco Moon Knight figure would never yellow if it were Jet Silver. And two, Moon Knight's original nicknames "The Spector of the Knight" and "The Silver Avenger" were WAY COOLER than being called a "White Knight" and having the catchphrase "I wear white so they'll see me cumming". Edit: Just realized you meant "The Marvel Now" Moon Knight. In which case according to Warren Ellis and concept art. Everything that's white on that black and white Moon Knight is actually suppose to be silver (including the cape), much like the original Doug Moench Moon Knight (this does not apply to Mr. Knight, who indeed wears an all white suit). They just kept it black and white as a stylized choice. Though unlike the original Moon Knight, his body suit now mainly has black cloth holding everything together. But yes, the mask in both cases only appears black due to shadowing. It's actually Jet silver much like his cape (though is drawn white for a stylized choice that confused the Hell out of future illustrators/writers who don't care about Moon Knight).

You should wear latex gloves when handling an all white figure like moon night. You don't want it turning yellow on you over time. It happened with my marvel legends Shatterstar,which I had to get another one.

Mezco's 1989 Batman figure will have the interchangeable capes that attach via magnets on the figure. Hopefully they utilize it again, but it did raise the price of the figure a bit.

Has anyone ever noticed the 5oclock shadow on the Batman black mask exclusive Batman? I’ve watched tons of reviews but have never seen the “shadow” on anyone else’s. Was mine a mistake? My Black on black Batman clearly has a stubble shadow that shows compare to all my other sovereign knight variants.
