You know seeing all 3 versions next to each other I get why Mezco made the color pallet change to the Px exclusive fig. Lighter grey to contrast the darker grey standard. Makes sense, why not have variety.

The belt doesn’t leave imprints on the armor pieces on the torso?

I haven’t removed the belt on this one, but if you watch my video for the standard version you can see the condition of the suit with the belt off.

I do love this evolution that batman undergoes in this mezco trilogy. The ascending knight depicts his earlier years so the suit very closely resembles his suit in the comic with the short gauntlet, plain bat symbol, and the cowl with bat ears that points outwards. Sovereign knight is suppose to be batman in his prime so the suit is form fitting, high tech, yet only lightly padded so that he is able to be agile. Finally supreme knight represents a much older batman (who still shouldn’t be messed with because you don’t fuq with an old man in a profession when men die young) so the suit is much more padded and armored with a larger bat symbol to provide more chest protection to compensate for batman’s aging body. Mezco is probably one of the only 1/12 scale batman manufacturers whose original designs does just as well as if not better than existing designs that are from movies, shows, or comics.

For me series of the year. All have been great figures. Although PX blue is definitely the weakest of the three. Glad I own standard. Shadow is awesome and comes with better accessories but standard just pops better and looks more pleasing on the eye. I’m skeptical how long shadows suit will last too. Where as standard its holding really well. Standards suit is also better made imo, the intricate detailing on the suit etc looks great in hand. They are all kickass figures to end the Mezco batman line on. Although no doubt there will more lol.

Px supreme and mdx 2 are my favorites, i love the blue with yellow oval color scheme
