These are probably my favorite TMNT figures. No cap. Absolutely gorgeous. I wish these designs are used for the next tv series or video game (I know Rogen’s Mutant Mayhem movie won’t look anything like this… sigh).

I never cared for the cartoons or any of the modern depictions; but, these look like they may be from the ORIGINAL comic series from "way-back-when"... IF that's the case then I'M IN! GREAT review, BB!

I’m a big Mezco collector and these guys are my grail from them. I’ve been a TMNT fan since I was a kid and now my fav toy company giving them a go was an instant preorder. I have many Mezco figures and never had any issues with any of them but Catwoman’s elbows. After collecting most of NECA Tmnt I sold the entire collection because of quality issues. Between these and the Fury line, I’m 10,000% good on turtles 😊

$100 each. Seems about right for Mezco. I just want to know how the weapons store on the figures, they do seem to have pockets...They are including some optional soft goods and plenty of options. I'm loving their version of The Crow Eric Draven! And I've bought a few other figures from them, it's just that $400 at once stings.

I've been trimming down my collection to only movie/tv stuff. I was excited for this until the actual reveal. The teaser stuff had me thinking we would be getting movie inspired figures which is not the case. I will say Mezco has become terrible for their promo images. Everything is photoshopped and you know you are never going to get 90% of the poses in these pics. No way Leo is gonna be able to pull off that sword draw, the fist can't rotate that far with the peg in the way. No way you are getting that Mikey pose, his hand is literally across his body and over his other shoulder. I doubt he will also be able to hold a pair of chucks in one hand like the hoodie pic. Not a fan of the Plunderling/Popeye body proportions for these figures either. My personal biggest turn off is that "In disguise" pic where the hands practically reach the ankles and the stands should have each turtle on them. I do hope that they add in something special for Mezco, a removeable shell section on the back where you can plug in the stand for dynamic fighting poses

We’ll most of us don’t like movie or tv so it is what is. I for one love this. Way better than anything neca has put out cause I like my turtles form the comics. Not the movies or cartoons. So just move along and stay with your necas instead of being sad it wasn’t made for you.

I do enjoy the movies and TV stuff like the recent Crow, Alien and Predator. Lil tip, you may not know as much as you think about others as I own exactly Zero Neca figures. Maybe in the future they won't give us teaser images that basically copy movie posters, that could avoid such misconceptions in the future

@@vicdamon3551 Neca released the best comic Turtles so far...the 2008 mirage comic tmnt are the best comic presentation ever! So wth are you talking about...to get them you will pay over 1k...so no Mezco isn't accurate to any source material they are a mix of the mirage/cartoon/movie/ and of course mezcofied...i am a mezco collector but these turtles only have the accurate terms from the comics in the oversized hands and feet...the faces and the bandanas are not Comic accurate at all more like toon or movie(all red)

We honestly can't make those assumptions till we actually have them in hand. But the articulation is always a concern. So we shall see.

Wanted To dislike these. I have so many iterations of the turtles. But these are great. They feel like a good value. I am certain they will do well on the secondary. TMNT collectors who aren’t into Mezco will balk at the price now, miss the window and regret it.

Mezco one 12 collective use more soft goods but mezco as a company is no stranger to all sculpted figures.. these turtles are like a mix of Popeye and conan lol I love it

These figures are what I've been waiting for. I love the Mirage comics design. The one thing they messed up on is not including red mask head sculpts for Mikey, Donnie and Leo. For those that want the original Mirage look when posing there figures.

What makes this worth it is unique body sculpt for each figure, and individually colored masks. Their body types, tho, I'm not a fan. I like the ones that SH Figuarts or Super 7 made. Anyway, this is still a nice set.

These are intriguing! At first I wrote them off since I'm focusing on NECA and Super7, but I'm starting to consider these, especially with the added clothes to bring out their individual personalities. It's interesting that they're listed as being about 6.5" apiece, which seems out of scale for Mezco, especially since the turtles are generally pretty short. The larger size is appealing, though...

I noticed in the description of accessories it says some things that aren’t shown in images. One (1) bo staff swing FX One (1) bo staff impact FX One (1) thrown sai FX Is that common? You think we will getthis too?

Yes figures come out with more than was shown. Like Constantine just came with gun

It's common some things get missed in the promo images. It's also common things might get cut. So we'll see.

Anthony, the individual sculpting is what makes the price tag somewhat palatable...do not get me wrong $300.00 would be better..the FF set should be dropping anytime now. Same situation alot of character specific sculpts. I do not splurge often so let these guys impress me.✌️

The individual sculpts is actually only the smallest portion why the cost is what it is. It comes down to more so because of the paint. All manufacturers I know and work with always say the paint is what eats up cost.

When they say "unique body" do you think it's literally the body - shell/torso plates? The arms/legs look the same.

Yeah they look really good I just preordered them. They are a bit high being that you get 5 figures with the power rangers and a nice bundle with fantastic 4 for the same price but I guess turtles are higher on collectors list.

It’s all original sculpt for each one. Could be part of it but 100 is also normal price for one mezco so I’m good with it

It comes down to sculpts and most of all paint apps. Manufacturing cost also goes most towards paint. Rangers and things like F4 don't require much paint as a set. That's why this cost the price it does.
