I would use a rag to protect the ball neck and grab it with a pair of long nose pliers to remove and reach the battery compartment.... awesome review, sir you nailed it.

@@gconstancio33 Mezco's QC has certainly gone the wrong way imo. I'm still glad I have the figure and they did send me a replacement one though.

i notice on your light motherboard the power element was missing thats why its not lighting up its a super tiny chip that youll never find but mezco should send you a replacement

Thanks! Yeah, Mezco has since sent me a replacement. I haven't checked it yet, but will soon. It's a cool idea but I don't think the engineering was the best with this one.

Ebay has 2 sellers selling their light up heads right now. The Sonny Channel shows a good tip on how to easily remove rhe light up features using a paperclip

Black suit Spidey from mezco is hands down these best Spiderman they've made so far it even has GREAT ankle pivot lol

I had that release in my hands twice and didn't get it. I'm kicking myself for it. I think the Diabolik figure has similar articulation (maybe the same body) as that Spidey. How has yours held up? I've seen some people's Black Suit Spidey's have degraded over time.

@@TheCollectorCave your absolutely right it is the same as diabolic's I need to pick him up for a snake eyes custom I wanna make, And ive seen other collector's B.S Spideys as well and they look horrible all cracked up and torn but not mine mine has held up perfectly and i posed the hell out of him lol

I think a lot of it has to do with humidity. If you live in a high humidity environment that poses problems with the fake leather goods.

Take the flight arm and use it to pop the foot peg out from the bottom side of the base. Then you can attach the flight arm to the base.

I have this figur,e, still in box. Im affraid of posing him, because of the wrinkles at the shoulders. Should I be worried? What about 5 years from now? What do you think about the wrinkles at the shoulders? I dont know if I should sell this of not because of the wrinkles.

I've personally not had any issues with any of my Mezco figures deteriorating over time. I've been collecting them since 2018. Now, I don't play with them a lot or change their poses very often. For this Spidey, I don't have him in a very dynamic pose. I think it comes down to two things: 1) Do you live in a humid climate and is your home regulated to keep humidity low in the house? 2) Dynamic posing over long periods of time will likely hurt these types of figures.

Does the little peg remove from the round plate?

Yep. The easiest way is to use the bottom of the flight stand to pop out the peg from the bottom of the stand.
