@Tom Vasel I just bought this game on gut feel by reading the back of the box and after watching a few videos about it I'm pretty confident it was the right decision. I've noticed that since you made this video one of your complaints has now been addressed with the addition of the "God Pack". I'm curious to know if you have revisited this since the release of expansions and what your thoughts are now. Would love to see an updated video with all trimmings. I appreciate your hard work too by the way.

I'd like to respond to this now that I've had the chance to play. My first impressions are that the game has the potential to be great but I found some areas lacking. My group and I found the rule book to be extremely frustrating to use and the constant need to refer during our first game made this worse as there were no player aids or reference cards. Myself personally I was disappointed with the implementation of the pyramids as I felt that for the amount of effort required the payoff wasn't worth it. Maybe they are only worth it if everybody playing decides to build but as only 2 of us were building them it was quite a let down. I'll definitely play it again but there's a good chance I'll likely want to play other games instead in the future.

I agree that the base game does not have much replayability. Good thing the Kickstarter introduces 8 more gods and I believe 4 modules to customise gameplay! :)

Have been playing for sometime, all gods included, even played with the fifth player expansion, it's been very very fun. You can choose a different god every time and it'll give you a different perspective of the game. Is always a different game. Would like to watch or read more opinions about it. 👍

Tom is right about the rulebook being unclear and having too few examples in them. Also, at first glance it can be hard to see the difference between the green and the blue cardboard tokens. Overall, I enjoyed the game so far. But in my opinion, it's more of an area control game than a war game.

I think we get our copy next month- I can’t wait! Looks like a ton of fun. And I like that you said it’s a different entry with all the other ‘dudes on a map’ games

I love Clowdus as a designer. But his manuals are ALWAYS terrible and its a real problem for his designs. Honestly think better back-end layout and graphic design work on the manuals would really level up his work. His designs are good. But if its hard for me to figure out how the game plays and check a rule then its gonna make me not want to bring it to the table.

That text is kind of hard to read. I don’t think this game has much strategy at all, is more like a random area control game. Needs some streamlining.

Sorry, but that ultra boring board and atrocious txt choice (brown on brown? Really?) makes this not very appealing at all, and actually feels like it would hinder gameplay. Just another example of a game that tries to incorporate lots of minis to offset its glaring issues. No thanx.
