Without your videos it would be no joy trying to restore a MF135. I know what to expect and the mistakes to avoid. Thanks Bwana.

Real good one, awesome bearing heater, best use possible for deep fryer, and not too expensive, really enjoyed the video and the insider tricks of the craft, thanks. Finally getting double digit day highs here in NS, still down about freezing at night though.

G Day David, Yes the deep fryer works well, if you are not careful you can send a bearing blue though .

Must have several thou of interference fit on those collars for them to need that much heat to get them on. Of course I guess it is holding the whole rear wheel on right?
@BundyBearsShed5 жыл бұрын
Yes if you dont get them that hot they get stuck half way then they are a throw away so the extra heat is insurance.

Is there a way around if no torch is available for the collar? I’m pretty sure my little map torch won’t get it red hot! Thanks for the vid.
@BundyBearsShed3 жыл бұрын
I would heat with a map torch then use a punch when you feel you cant get it any hotter but keep it all even.

I assume you just use engine oil in your chip cooker. Old or new?? Cheers Ian from Markwood
@BundyBearsShed4 жыл бұрын
I usually just use the gear oil, it wouldn't really matter what sort of oil it's just to transfer the heat. Always new oil
@Rolf20145 жыл бұрын
If you put the bearing rings in the freezer for two hours, then you can simply insert them by hand.
