Tribute to Tom Petty was so moving. The audience goes 200% for Pearl Jam.The last time I saw lights in a stadium was when Jim Morrison did "Light My Fire" in my hometown. This is way more genuine.Thank you Pearl Jam.

In 2010, at the New Orleans Jazz festival, I was walking behind the stages from one to the other, as the line up, was dizzying with so much talent in one place, when a black limo drove up, unbeknownst to me, then a woman next to me, yelled "HI Eddie", and he looked right at me, and flashed a big smile, and waved. It took me a milisecond to realize It was Eddie Vedder.

I saw them in OKC in 2013 and i did the same thing. This guy a row over said to me, "dude, finally someone has a lighter"! He was wanting to toke up lol. I thought to myself hell if you are bringing that to the show you gotta have a lighter! Good news is he shared!

The Heartbreakers need to get over it. It is sad but we all die. It's almost been 5 years. The Heartbreakers are way too good of a band to stop playing. They should do a tour with Eddie as lead singer and sing TP and Heartbreaker songs. We only live once. It would be a magical tour. Eddie can sing TP songs. And who knows - maybe , just maybe - TP was grooming Eddie to do so (see live versions of American Girl and The Waiting - Eddie with TP)) . Campbell and Co. need to give it some serious thought.
