If you look closely at the rig, you will see it is on top of something that is colored gray. That is the battery. The battery is a 12 volt at 7 amp hours. The power cable if fused and plug into the back of the rig. This can all be put, antenna included, in a small carrying bag. If placed inside of a back pack, you will have lots of room left over. I've seen those rigs and must say I've been tempted to buy one, probably the 20m version which is good for getting around Europe.

Nice portable setup. I am trying to decide whether to go with a shortened 20 meter dipole or a full length sloper for backpacking. Looks like you'rs is working out very well.

Thanks for your comments. I don't understand your question? I plugged the paddles in back of the rig, I put 12 volts from the battery that is under the rig and plugged it into the radio, I hooked up the coax to the coax connector on the back of the rig and them tied the antenna to the roof support and sloped it down to the ground. I then connected the coax to the back of the rig. I then turned on the radio. What did I miss? Barry
