Greetings! I'm here on a quite peculiar reason for I just finished translating Angeline Boulley's "Firekeeper's daughter" into russian. Loved researching ojibwe culture, traditions and spirit which felt close and touching. Will live with that imprint further. I will be purchasing this along with some other gems I stumbled across by great luck. I’ve just started learning my Anishinaabemowin and I feel a deep connection to my spirit when I speak it. Great job Wanda and I feel very inspired by this as I am on my own journey of writing a book and hopefully a dictionary one day. I will be sure to leave you a credit in my books and if I ever try to make an alphabet version, I will also be sure to let everyone know it is because of you, that I have decided to try to share your gifts. That is a bison skull bison don't have antlers they're called horns unless the Ojibwe language refers both antlers and horns as the same

Wanda, thank you for posting this. I have a question. Is there a double “e”? I am collaborating with a friend who is a tribal member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa & Chippewa Indians of Peshawbestown, Michigan, and the lyrics she wrote are “Gaawii Gegoo Goshkiiwin” (translated as “there is no more fear”), and "Gaaggee Zaag’aa” (translated as “I will love you for all time”). In this instance, she has “Gaaggee” with a double ee. Is that correct? I didn’t see “ee” in your video. Thank you for your help.
