Tribalism aside, Penta's debut is great for wrestling. Wrestling is thriving, something that we could not say a decade ago. Penta going to WWE and Ricochet going to AEW is a great way to freshen up both products. Finn Balor is also a perfect example of someone that could do well outside of WWE because it is a clean break from those stories that are keeping him stuck. Not saying he would go but it is a perfect example of someone having the ability to hit the restart button.

The thing about Penta that always made him feel special was that he looks so different and wrestles fairly different than other Luchadors. He's not like his brother or Rey. That look alone will be so utilized in WWE and he has the charisma to get people to want to cheer for him

The thing with Finn is his W-L record really doesn't matter, they can slap his bodypaint on him, bring back the demon, and people will buy him as a main eventer at the drop of a hat. Shinsuke had a gimmick change and people instantly bought him winning a title, Finn's demon character is crazy strong in kayfabe and I'd be shocked if it never comes back, they are just giving it enough time and space for people to forget them ruining the gimmick at the end.

I don't think Finn is ever getting a push to the main event. Even if the Demon is back, I just don't see the WWE giving the title to 43 year old Finn at this stage of his career. His time sadly is up by now. WWE is all about the new generation of title holders and have so many people they can push. Even Cody is 4 years younger than Finn. Its like AJ. They aren't winning the world title anymore. Not with Cody/Roman/Rock/Punk/Drew/Rollins/Gunther/Cena/Breakker. That covers the next 3-4 years of champs with a few smaller ones in between but not Finn more like LA Knight and Jey Uso and guys who are super over, which will be tough to get Finn to get to

And it's been really killing their momentum as the mentality is, "Luchadors can only fued and Pair with fellow luchadors." REY V. PENTA is fantastic. But I don't wanna see Penta go against the entire LWO as a build up for the love of God. Same with Judgemnt day. "Ohh dark character, into the dark faction you go." Penta NEEDS to just stick to being a singles star. Putting him in a faction will KILL his momentum. But book him with credible wrestlers.

If there’s one thing that makes ‘Penta in WWE’ feel limited (or a lesser ceiling)…. It’s that he turns 40 in a few weeks. If they want to go with him on his own, or as a team with Rey Fenix, they need to go NOW. He basically needs the Motor City Machine Guns treatment. Bring him in, build him up, have an IC run, then when Rey Fenix arrives, a tag title run, then Penta can pass the torch to his younger brother and they could do that in a 2 year span.
