The jump start is a very balanced weapon that does not kill half the wave instantly. Also why do u use the regular overpump? It does less damage than a regular shotgun when shotgun swapping and considering u mostly use the explosion for starting waves, the alt overpump would simply be better (unless u care about the 35 damage, but chances are its getting healed half a second later).

What's the main difference between brutal and violent cybergrind?

Brutal difficulty comes with changes to enemies. To name a few, Soldiers now roll, drones are way faster, Malicious Face's orb barrage is a bit different now, etc etc.
