Hi Prakash your videos are very informative. Thanks for the lovely content. Have booked Astor turbo AT and eagerly waiting for the delivery. Although i had a TD couple of times but it was on city roads with moderate traffic so could not check high speed or highway performance. Would like to know how it is to drive the car on highways at high speeds 100-120 how r the suspensions, handling etc. Does the car give you confidence to drive at high speeds. Also have u noticed any lag like u notice on a CVT car during quick acceleration while overtaking etc

I am so glad to hear that my content is helping you in making in an easy decision. Talking about the high speed stability and overall comfort on high speeds. I would like to tell you few things the first and formers thing is that even if you are driving the car at 100 the car feels you are driving at 80. So overall set up is good enough to keep you confident on high speeds. Do make a note that you will have to change the EPS whenever you are driving fast the urban mode is not meant for driving at high speeds give will feel that there is no good handling in such a case. Talking about the CVT I would like to tell you that if you want a quick overtake then that is not possible in CVT. There will be a lag and after that the car would start accelerating in a proper manner. If you are a type of person who want quick acceleration and generally driving easy then I would suggest you to go with the turbo variant else CVT will start disappointing you. If you are a person who likes to drive easy all the time and doesn't give a dam about anything then this CVT is for you.

Not at all! The red is brighter than the stock red It makes the steering fat and less comfortable! I would suggest you to keep it as it comes!

After using ASL for a while, if you go to cruise control and toggle back to ASL again, should you again go to vehicle settings in center console and select manual/auto/warning option? Or does it remember the last ASL mode used?

Hey Prakash! Liking your videos! Your videos are very elaborative. I am very sceptical about the mileage that the CVT would fetch!. It's been 3 days now and my Astor is still giving me a 7.5 kmpl. I am loving the car way to much right now. But the mileage being the only concern for me so far!. Could you tell me if this ll improve with time? Post the first service? Did you have the same experience with your turbo engine?. Would really appreciate your response on this one.

Hey rahil! Thank you for appreciating the vidoes i make! I think you shouldn't worry about it at all! 3 days is a very small time to determine what mileage you can get from the car in future! It's like a running in period where car is getting used to the parts installed in it! Atleast 2-3 thousand kilometres drive is required The car doesn't start giving good mileage after first service, it's just that the owner starts learning to know how the car has to be drives! Actually i went for a highway drive stright after taking the car! But i made sure not to cross 90 till first 1000 kilometres! I know people who get 14-15 easily on CVT! you will learn automatically how to get better mileage! And remember few points Driving slow doesn't give you good mileage! 55-65 is idle If you constantly increase your speed that also ruins mileage If you see a traffic stop , release your accelerator and let the car move till there! Other than that you will eventually learn! I hope this msg helps you!

The sensitivity is correlated to the time to collision I suppose. More the sensitivity quicker is the response of automatic braking. I have experienced automatic braking once in Kolkata when my attention was diverted to look at map and vehicle in front suddenly stopped. I was pleasantly shocked to see my Astor too stopped inches before it could collide with the vehicle in front.

Below are the things I am struggling with : How to oprate Astor front lights (all modes) How to oprate wipers (all modes) Hope to oprate AC (there are some settings which allow to get air on your legs, on your body and at the front glass) The AI assistant doesn't move his face towards whoever is speaking.. also can feel a kind of lag with infotainment system.. loads bit late.. welcome message comes very late... Even AI assistant starts with a lag... please help on this ...

Hi Prakash. I always like your videos. For speed limiting, when you reduced speed limit from 75 to 70, rpm didn't rise. Does this also happen when we drive the car in cruise control? If I set it at 90 and then after reaching 90, i reduce the cruise speed at 80 or 85. Does this also reduce RPM?

Yes!! It happens with me too! So if i have to cruise at 70 i will first cruise at 75 and then the lower rpm can drag the car at 70! But there are pre set speed at which the rpm changes so your 90 maybe 95 and then when you lower the speed , the car will drive at lower rpm

Put the lever on non cruise control side ! And it will not turn off! Also everytime you turn off your vehicle you will have to set it again
