Rear armrest makes it uncomfortable for the middle passenger, it's having hard board consistency, plus due to its protrusion makes it totally uncomfortable.

I have tried both...and believe me I am 5.11 in height and felt really uncomfortable at rear seat of Astor with two normal weight and height females...my head was in touch with c piller constantly...small wheelbase makes cabin congested...middle seat useless for adults...2.5 seats at rear....seltos is way better....

The middle tunnel is mostly for structural integrity and... well we all know seltos is a fun packed package that lacks safety lol (Pretty sure Indian spec Seltos would score 2 stars or so)

For rear seat, how's the long drive comfort? Wish rear bench depth was also covered for comparison purpose, but in long drive was it comfortable in the back or lack of under thigh support was a bug challenge for rear passengers?

Bhai, CVT me rubber band effect ki wajah se initial delay hota hi hai 0-100 hone me per uske baad smooth rahti hai. Astor business ya job karne walo ke liye ek premium option hai, enthusiast logo ke liye utni theek nahi baithegi but iski class seltos se definitely ek number uper rahegi. XUV 700 hi iski competitor hai

Read below: The central hump adds tremendous stiffening to the floor pan in a monocoque chassis (usually found in sedans / hatchbacks) and that helps in chassis dynamics. The fuel lines, exhaust, brake lines and wirings are routed through transmission tunnel, thereby helping in safety quotient of the plumbing, wires etc and helps maintaining appropriate ground clearance of the vehicle. Longitudinally, transmission tunnel act as a crash tube , which can be rigid initially and acts as a safety cell, once deformed absorbs significant amount of crash energy. When ends ot transmission tunnels are effectively built into remaining structure, there is an enhancement of torsional rigidity. Above all if a vehicle is designed for RWD / AWD, then no point in changing floorpan design for sake of FWD alone.

Dude only difference is the transmission. Automatic is CVT and a manual is a manual obviously. Absolutely no difference in features.

Electronic parking brake, auto hold and front cup holders don't come with sharp manual, but comes with sharp automatic...also i-smart engine and ac start-stop will be missing in the manual..
