Anyone who buys new mgs from a company who doesnt give a damm about our history in motoring and uses the brand name are fools. These cars need to be saved simple. All this about in talks with the motor museum is bollocks. Whsts there to talk about? Yes we will take these cars thankyou..and im sure theres other car museums that would snap these up in the uk

I'd argue they do still care about the brand and the history considering they still have a UK based HQ that do a lot of design and suspension work. The commercial director of MG Motor UK was the head of commercial operations at MG Rover in the 2000s so I doubt he'd be willing to let the history be forgotten. The cars are in the British Motor Museum now!
