For how long one has to pay for baas. Let's say, one drives 1lakh km in 3-5 years and has already paid the cost of battery, will be be charged per km indefinitely or the loan for baas gets over by that time?

Resale value has not considered. Secondly there are some grey areas in warranty. For eg: for every 4 fast charging or oppurtunity charging, one need to do normal ac charging which will take 7 to 13 hours. Natural degradation is not covered under warranty. The parameter is not explained.

Majorly speaking : it's restricted to the 1st owner. Also, incase of any accident, the battery should not get damaged. Else warranty will not cover it (insurance can, as per insurance terms)

Nice explanation @bunny, but with new financers whom we have never heard off and it sounds odd why would renowned banks aren't backing this scheme. If we sale the car after 5 years, then the second owner have 3 years of battery warranty left, in that case what's the point in selling the car, better take the buy back offer from MG, but then do we need to buy another car from MG or can we get the 60% value in form of credit to our bank account? The savings can be even more than what you predicted because of 1st year charging will be billed to MG directly.

What if running is only 700 km per/ month and loan amount 3 lakh. Then which best?

Loan amount 3 dono car par nahi ho sakta...10 lakh ki car ke liye 3 lakh ka loan logey iska matlab aapke pass 7lakh hai aur jab 14 lakh ki car logey toh aapko 7lakh ka loan lena hoga. But obvious aapko interest zyada bharna hoga. Agar rent par batter lete ho toh 3.5 per km bachta hai compared to petrol. 3.5*700km per month *12 months per year and fr 5 years. 1,47,000 u save compared to petrol car and if u own battery from first day then u save 2,94,000. 8rs petrol and 1rupee charging cost at home.

You missed one point, after 1500 km, no battery rental (3.5 Rs/Km) for that month. So only, 1 Rs/km cost after 1500 km. and even 1 Rs/km is free for 1 year. wonderful scheme, especially for cab drivers.

⁠@@backtoroots6665you need to compare it with Curvv, because Windsor is slightly bigger than Curvv…and that 5 Star safety doesn’t matter above if you are travelling above 64 Kmph, i stay near Mumbai Bangalore highway in Pune, and i have seen countless Tata car owners crushed to death on that highway…even a Harrier owner didn’t survived…! Safety depends on the driver rather than a car. A good driver in a unsafe car is more likely to be safer than a bad driver in a safe car…!

Windsor EV should not be brought by a first time ev buyer... The battery pack is pathetically small. A practical range of 260 for 100% charge is not practical. One does not go till 0 to charge the vehicle. To keep practicality one need to charge the car at 20% and that makes the practical range around 220 which means that inter city transfers are not feasible/ time taking. Also while fast charging, the AC doesn't work which makes it completely impractical during summer.
