The scythe can't be enchanted. Still, there's the Hay Maker-enchantment, which can be put on a weapon. I can't be the only person thinking there's something weird about that...

its not that confusing... haymaker is an enchantment to free up an inventory slot so you dont need to carry around a scythe and makes it easier to get hay for your animals

@@goodolrainbowpet Sure you could save an inventory space. But in this very video it's advised that you put the enchantment on a secondary weapon, which makes you carry an additional item anyway...

@@atlekristiansen4975 You put it on the secondary weapon and leave your best weapon behind. It lets you use a reasonably powerful sword, that doubles as a scythe, for times when you are not going through the most dangerous areas.

Shaving enchantment let you get more wood and more crops from giant crops. If you don't like the enchanted just reset the days and enchant something else first and then enchantment the first item. Personally save up 3 enchantment and you can cycle though combinations

The reaching enchament gives 5 additional tiles for the amount of time it takes to charge from 1 tile to 3 tiles. For me it's hands down the best

There's a mod on Nexus to enable choosing your enchantment- rather than having to scum save. I don't enjoy the randomness of it, i mean, you go through the whole gauntlet of wrecking skull caverns for shards, and then you're expected to just ''hope'' you get a good enchant? Fuck no baAaaby

The bottomless enchantment would make reaching the forge a bit easier, but you get it from the forge😢

Just don't forget to refill your watering can before going into the volcano dungeon and it should be pretty hard to run out of water. Also note, as you enter the volcano, right next to the entrance, there's this 4 square water reservoir where you can fill your watering can. And then another one on level 5, next to the dwarf.

If you break open a cinder shard node near the edge of lava, you often lose some of the shards into the lava. You can fix this by first using the watering can next to the node to ensure that the lava is hardened before mining.

I got really lucky when I enhanced my Galaxy sword. Got +1 defense, a boost to crit chance, and something like +10 weight, so it frequently smacks serpents straight off the map. It actually made doing the monster hunter quest more difficult because I would knock them out of my ability to hurt and also knock them way out of their aggro range, so they wouldnt come back. I dont know if any of that is meta, but between that and the Ice Rod trinket that freezes stuff every 3 seconds, it has made even the dangerous stuff almost trivial.... Almost. Still have close calls every now and then, but I've yet to run out of health at any point in my current playthrough and Im on year 3 with all the monster hunter goals done.

It's annoying that you can't put cinder shards in crystalariums, if you want to balance it, just make it so you need to put in 10 or 30 to get it started.

I prefer the efficient enchantment on my hoe for planting day (especially Spring 1st) and the bottomless enchantment on my watering can. Together, you can till and water your field a LOT faster. Axe I would go with either shaving for the extra wood or efficient to keep from spending energy (great when harvesting a bunch of wood all at once). I usually go master on the fishing rod for the boost in fishing skill. Weapon, I usually go for crusader making the skull cavern much easier. Favorite ring combos are iridium band mixed with burglar's ring, slime charmer ring, and napalm ring (that's 3 separate combos with iridium band, not trying to mix all 4 together) though I've seen some really great builds with different combos. Iridium band is just so versatile since it's essentially 3 rings in one allowing you to add a 4th ability (or enhance magnetism and light if you combine it with a glowstone ring).

One thing I’d love from these is if you were to give a rough estimate of how many runs in say the volcano you’d need to enchant the tools worth enchanting Obvs it would be super rough but would give me an idea of how many resources to gather for the runs. Love your vids!

you can only have one enchantment per tool, if you use the forge again, it will overwrite the old enchantment with a new one

I do personally. I like to make a lot of fiber seeds to hold fertilizer during winter and have a few sheds with crops placed in garden pots. For example, one upgraded shed with 138 pots with deluxe retaining soil will use 276 clay. It is very nice to be able to do some clay farming and then go about your schedule. The clay will stock up very quickly for all your projects if you farm clay late game.

I love Stardew Valley, but I absolutely hate everything to do with with Ginger Island. Everything about it is so annoying. I don't even bother unlocking it anymore as it isn't worth the trouble of dealing with it.

@@mGaud2 I'm not against the concept of it, it is just Ginger Island is such a hassle to go through. The volcano is a bigger pain than the Skull Cavern. I've never found the Volcano Dwarf. Never made it to the Forge, so have never got to mess with that. The walnuts are a chore to track down and I've only found a small fraction of them. Most of the island things I could never find to even try it. I was just very disappointed with it. :(

@@anubiswerelupe The volcano is only 9 floors, and the dwarf is on the 5th floor. I can't really work out how you NEVER made it as far as floor 5. I think you don't like the Island because of skill issues, tbh.

@@as3609 I never made it passed floor 1. The volcano was a death trap so I couldn't get far there. I would have maxed out Combat skills but would get destroyed in a few seconds.

@@anubiswerelupe Ginger island is a relatively big part of the game. Lots of free farming space (not affected by season, so basically a massive greenhouse) and just space in general. The tool upgrades there are very helpful and the best item, horse whistle, can be obtained there. Oh and some other qol items. The dwarf you mentioned also sells amazing food for a reasonable price. Well up to you, if you choose not to maximize the content then that's your choice. Just enjoy the game however you want. Oh yeah, you're really missing out, you can't see the people in beach clothes. Massive L for that.
