Night maps pvp should be a permanent mode. Just need some balancing, our team was getting wrecked by high level players. Our entire team wasn't level 100 while the opposite had 400, 500, 700...still had fun, something new for console players

I think it would be more fun if NVGs or, at least, some of them, were restricted to certain classes to make things more interesting. Also, I think they should restrict gamma specifically for night maps to avoid high gamma exploits.

Exactly, the problem with Night maps its that people were exploiting the gamma settings to play unfairly.

@@blazehnt Yeah, I tried it on Coop and, without going very high in Gamma, I could still see almost everywhere without trouble.

@@blazehnt Just to BE that guy and just in case if they do decide to restrict gamma, remember that windows has its own gamma settings that can be opened and closed quickly! Make use of that exploit, everyone else is!

They should throw these into the regular map rotation, but at a much lower percentage of showing up in the map pool. like 20% of the recommended maps could be night versions.

Man I told everyone 2042 was gonna suck... What I didn't anticipate was Infinite sucking too. Makes me even more thankful for Sandstorm every time I boot it up.

@@elnur4927 Hmm I wonder if there is a way to avoid that while also not punishing the perceptive players. Maybe PvP maps should have an additional shader that completely blacks out unlighted areas? That would be better for gameplay at the cost of realism and I have no idea if they could make this sort of thing look good

I love the sound of the Mosin suppressed. One thing that irks me tho, is the animation for rechambering a round after leaving ADS. Looks very stiff or something.

They need to put a cap on the gamma for night modes somewhere around 2.0, So players can’t just max out there gamma and shoot you across the map when you’re laying in the dark, when they are not even running NVGS, but don’t worry they can still see everything. Shitty but people do it and it’s basically cheating, shouldn’t be allowed. Ruins the experience/skill/knowledge it takes to play the mode imo.
