Great overview. Amazing what's available to us these days.

Looks like these videos really help with an overview which is harder to piece together on your website. I'm used to steam gauges, overviews like this could help me have a better idea how to plan if/when I get to build. Just wish there were more current videos like this one... but sounds like they are coming.

At current price of $2000 this looks like a real winner for a minimal system that has great expansion possibilities. I had been looking at Kanardia too, but this seems like it might be nicer, with radio integration etc.

Can any of these MGL products be installed under NORSEE as a stand alone additional awareness system in a Standard category plane like a Cessna 172 while of course retaining full functionality of factory gauges?

Is it possible to remotely control a F.U.N.K.E ATR833 Transceiver with the MX1?

I've tried to connect MY MX1 to a first generation ATR833 and it did not work for me for two reasons: 1.) the ATR833 1st gen. does not support 8.33 spacing on the serial SL40 protocol which is being used to control the unit. for that reason, it is not possible to dial 8.33 spaced frequencies using the MX1.. also i was only able to pre-select frequencies, then had to use the ATR833 button to switch frequencies. Further more, the COM1 interface remained crossed out on the MX1, so it did not seem to recognize that the COM is actually connected. All this is a ATR833 first gen issue tho. I have since switched to a Trig TY92 and am controlling it over the same serial port and protocol and it works like a charm. F.U.N.K.E stated, that the problem should be resolved with the newer ATR833 versions, sadly there is no upgrade for the old ones to fix this.
