MGM Grand Muthu Hotel, Golf del Sur - Tenerife

Decided to try another hotel in a resort closer to Airport, is it 5 Star?

What's the sand like, on the beach is black if so how far is the white sand going here in September

Didn't go to beach as was only there for the night and arrived later afternoon but it only looks around a 10 Min walk to the normal coloured sand

I've been in some crap 4/5* hotels in the UK...what adds the stars are facilities, like spa/pool/VIP bar, not general high quality...maybe it's the same in Spain

Wasn't impressed room spacious but only the 1 bar at night time, suppose I'm been picky was only 58 pound for the night

😂 I do agree I would give it a 4 star, was only there 1 night but was a nice hotel but definitely not a 4 star. And yes I can confirm I change my clothes everyday

Sorry, but hotel looks horendos, noise, chavs and kids everywhere. Guess it bought four of its stars on ebay. Yuk.
